Gypsy Dress

Spell & The Gypsy Collective dress, Vince shoes, Illesteva sunglasses, Chloé bag, Lovestrength belt

This long-sleeved floral dress is fit for any occasion and adds a burst of brightness to my day.

My love for long-sleeved dresses is pretty recent: bought a Cynthia Vincent long-sleeved floral dress last fall and wore it countless times; with heels at night for dinner or with sandals walking around during the day. With that in mind, when I saw this turquoise gypsy dress I knew it was the perfect addition to my summer wardrobe. The color is so joyful and it flows behind me while walking down the street, like any breezy dress should. It also comes in black, which I equally love, as well as a skirt version.

Are you tired of seeing these block heels yet? I’ve talked about them so many times before, but they’re just so comfortable and versatile. Vince keeps reproducing this style in slightly different colors and cuts since they’re so popular. If you don’t have a pair yet, I promise you’ll wear them to work, to cocktails, to a date, and to everything in between (they fit true to size, FYI). I used to wear so many thinner stiletto-style heels and I’ve nearly entirely ditched those (aside from truly dressy occasions) for block heels. They’re so much more laid back and cool, like you’re accidentally more put together for the day without trying – the vibe I always strive to reflect.

I’ve been wearing this double buckled belt with high waisted jeans and dresses alike, but I’ll admit I’m probably the last person to hop on this trend. I was initially put off by it after seeing so many girls wear them with Coachella/festival style clothes, or with ripped jeans and cropped tops (but I also admit I’ve also done that since buying it). There’s something about a product or style that becomes so much less favorable when so many people already wear it, don’t you think? After actually trying it on, I realized they’re super flattering on the waist and not as in-your-face western as I’d initially thought. Plus, paired with a feminine dress like this one,  the contrast in styles is very pretty. So, now I understand.

Find more dresses below, including the black version of this one, and the skirt version. If you wear it, let me know!
