Labor Day Threads

I’ll save you from a cheesy intro about wearing white year round, but I especially love a pop of color over white jeans for the end of summer.

It’s bittersweet that we’re already in September; I’m not sure where the year has gone. There’s so much to look forward to though, especially NYC fashion week coming up in a few days (follow along on my IG and Snap)! Fall is also my favorite season to dress for so I’m ready to ditch my shorts and sandals for leather jackets and scarves. In the meantime, it still looks like summer in LA so I’ve been wearing white jeans on repeat.

I knew I had to have this red fringe top when I saw it, I have a thing for tassels. It might not be a “fall” purchase but it’s also a staple vacation piece I can throw on over shorts on vacation year round with a statement earring, and the material is the softest silk.

You’ve probably seen me wear my Soukie clutch on the blog a few times now; it never gets old! I’ve seen so many fun colorful clutches in stores this summer (my favorites being this one and this one). I didn’t know they were such a trend. During the winter I tend to stick to neutral bags and shoes but as long as the weather is hot I’m all about minimal effort pieces that bring maximum impact.

I wear these white Frame jeans with everything. The fit is perfect and the stretch makes them comfy. I have too many pairs of jeans I never wear because they’re not soft or stretchy (I need to stop buying jeans unless I’ve sat and walked in them…) A pet peeve of mine is also when jeans lose their softness after a handful of washes; nothing’s worse than starchy-feeling jeans and Frame never seems to lose their original feel. For jewelry lately, I’ve just been throwing on whatever gold bangles I take off at night and leave on my dresser. I have a huge stack that I mix and match (not on purpose, whatever is there!) and today it was these Kendra Scott bracelets I recently wore in Utah, mixed with a Wanderlust & Co. bangle. I never take off my Anita Ko leaf ring or my “X” ring or I’ll feel totally naked.
