Your average newsstand run look? Not really. Clearly, I just decided to go all out with this outfit.
When I saw these flared pants by Milly I kinda had to have them… then I paused and wondered what in the world to pair them with. I haven’t worn polka dots in ages, but I was so into this strapless dot top and sweet tie around the waist. It’s so girly and fun and a little over the top, but in a classic way (it’s also on sale here!) Sometimes if half of the look already out there, you might as well go full on right?
I paired it with a pearl ring to play off the white dots, and cat-eye shades. I’ve wanted to shoot outside of Booksoup in West Hollywood for a while – it’s been there forever, and it’s one of the last standing bookstores in the city. I love its vintage vibes; if you’re ever walking the Sunset Strip I recommend getting a coffee and walking by.
This matte red lipstick is by NARS (shade is “Starwoman,”); and it lasts all day and then some. If you’re looking for a red lipstick with true staying power, this one does not disappoint. For black and white, I like true crimson red for a classic look.
I found so many amazing polka dot pieces available this season – swipe right below for my favorites, and find links to the exact pieces in this post at the bottom of the post.
