This is my new go-to pencil skirt, and it was only $60! I haven’t been to Topshop in a minute and I’m glad I stopped in at the Grove a couple weeks ago. Their skirt collection is so good right now – lots of pleats and lace. I’m also loving this textured lace skirt. Black lace is both elegant and playful.

Nicholas continues to be one of my favorite designers.. their unique tops and dresses nail it everytime. I spotted this top on Shopbop and thought it was gorgeous for a night out but didn’t think I’d wear it much beyond that. To my surprise it’s made an appearance multiple times this week – over my favorite leather pants paired with heels (my staple alternative to a dress for nighttime), with jeans and with fitted skirts like I did in this post. You may want to size up in this line – it runs a bit tight.

If you’re in LA and haven’t been to Zinque yet (in Venice off of Abbot Kinney or on Melrose in Weho) you must try it. I go there at least twice a week these days and the cozy interior is perfect for getting some work done or meeting a friend for coffee. These photos remind me of Paris a little bit; it gives me travel fever! Hope your week is off to a great start.
