Coral Lace Dress

Photography by Betsy Newman

Dress: Lovers + Friends (in pink & white here)

Shoes: Aquazzura

Bag: Saint Laurent Paris

Sunglasses: Prada (25% off)

How great of a color is coral for summer? It’s more unexpected than pink and a welcome break from red. Plus, it pops against a tan and even better paired with turquoise blue. I wore this coral lace dress in Costa Rica recently and again for Easter brunch. I plan to take it on my next warm-weather vacation too. It also comes in white and pale pink, which I love almost more! My favorite Prada sunglasses are currently 25% off.

These photos were shot in front of the Beverly Hills hotel and I afterwards realized how perfect a backdrop it was – if you ever go to lunch at the Polo Lounge, check out the palm tree wallpaper and pink walls (and wear this dress)! Below are some more vaca worthy coral lace dress styles.

On another note, if you were browsing on Instagram today you may have seen many posts from bloggers about the re-ordering of your photo feed. It seems that Instagram is changing things up! I’m curious to hear your thoughts on this new system, as many Instagram users are against the new changes (and riled up – it’s like the Insta-apocalyspse)! I totally understand this – I personally prefer my feed to be chronological; as I love to see the posts from everyone I follow; not just the most “popular.” But, as the times change we’re forced to adapt to new systems (remember when Facebook changed?).

So, what does this mean? If you’d like to stay in touch with me (and I hope you do!), you can subscribe to my posts to make sure you don’t miss any. All you have to do is click the 3 dots to the upper right of my photos and hit “turn on notifications.” However, I know many bloggers have posted about this and I feel it’s important to clarify:  you don’t have to turn on notifications to see my posts (or the posts of any bloggers and friends you care about!) That would be a ton of notifications, right? If you don’t want me to blow up your phone (and I would agree!) that’s not the only way. If you already organically engage by “liking” or commenting, Instagram will know you’re interested and keep showing you my posts. As always, I’m grateful for your interest and support – and I hope you continue to be inspired by my account. I have lots more in the works for this year, and I can’t wait to share it with you! x
