Is it just me or is fringe everywhere these days? I just returned from Coachella and I swear half the female population on the festival field were decked out in fringe crop tops, fringe skirts, fringe bags… did I even spot a fringe headdress? Not that I’m complaining; I’m definitely on board. I love the carefree attitude of a little fringe (as I mentioned a couple posts ago) and I’ve been on the lookout for some new additions. In a dream world I would have brought this YSL fringe bag to the festival with me.

As with any trend, my aim is to incorporate just enough into my look that it complements my own style and comes across as more timeless (you never want to look like a giant hanger displaying the trend; it should be used as a way to add life and a little edge). I found this fringe skirt at Intermix and almost bought it in black before noticing the beige version. I also love this shorter fringe version.

How unique is this pearl hand chain? My friend and talented designer Jackie from JNB Style made it, and it can also be wore as an anklet. If you like her pieces you’ll love this druzy hand chain and  necklace (perfect for layering). I also love this garnet hand chain.

Speaking of Coachella, is anyone heading out there for Weekend 2? Take lots of pictures, and drink tons of water in the desert heat!
