If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen some photos with Gray Malin.

He’s my favorite photographer (and also just a favorite person of mine!) He came over to see his newly hung ski prints in my family home, which is in Park City, Utah.

Most people know of Gray for his classic beach aerial shots, but these ski prints have a special place in my heart because I grew up coming to Park City as a child and spent so many snowy Christmases there. He perfectly captures that exhilarating feeling of flying down the slopes while breathing in the the crisp, chilly winter air (that smells nothing like Los Angeles smog). I just love how bright white the prints because most everywhere you look while up in the mountains is a white out – tall everest trees blanketed in white, falling white snow in the air.. the pop of colors of the skiers adds the contrast.
