When I think of Guess swimwear I think of the classic Guess girl in a iconic location. Big voluminous waves, a printed suit, lots of color and playfulness – so what better place to shoot this series than the Roosevelt Hotel pool? The famed hotel has one of the best (and biggest) pools in Hollywood, and it cleared out at sunset just in time to get some good shots (I really wanted to take that Tropicana Hollywood lifeguard buoy home with me).

This gingham suit is the right mix of sweet yet playful, and black and white is foolproof. I love all the color options in these Guess mirrored aviator glasses – I went with bright blue, because why not.. and threw on a long tunic as a coverup. What’s your favorite swim style for summer?
