I wore this outfit for a walk down Abbot Kinney in Venice last week and it easily went from afternoon to an evening dinner and drinks with friends. I love the look of several layers, but in 70 degree sunshine you have to keep each piece breezy and spring-appropriate (plus, no one wants to look too overdone to stroll through a beach town).

This cashmere sweater is perfect for LA weather: lightweight and thin, three-quarter length sleeves, and a subtle slit at the sides. I love the white star on the back too. I paired it with comfortable jeans, my go-to everyday booties and a fun printed scarf designed by my dear friend Anna. I’m obsessed with her scarf collection – this diamond scarf also comes in a multicolored print too. The designs on Anna’s scarves are mostly from her own artwork, screened onto scarves from her paintings! How amazing is that? She gave me a sneak peek of her fall collection while I was in NYC for fashion week and I can’t wait to get my hands on some of her next prints. Highly recommend checking them out!
