LA is known for it’s super hot late summers that last long into autumn, and we’re entering that time period now – hot 85 degree days and warm nights. While this is great for squeezing in extra BBQs and beach days, it’s not so great for gazing into shop windows featuring over the knee boots and fringe suede jackets when you’re sweating in your tee shirt. I can’t WAIT for fall fashion. It might be my favorite time for getting dressed. Does anyone else feel like there are just more options with fall clothes? I love pairing a top, jacket, jeans, boots and scarf together on sunny but crisp days. It makes me feel way more put together!

Until then, I’ve been finding some key transition pieces to make the seasonal switch. This V-back knit sweater shows just the right amount of skin and is cozy yet breathable. It has a fall vibe but still works over denim shorts and little skirts in the heat. Plus, neutral colors are great in-between shades – I’ll wear this again in a few months under a coat and scarf. I also love this oversized, cozy V-back option (at a steal price), and this heather grey knit.

I know some people think these Rockstud heels are a bit played out by now.. but I think the white version still looks fresh. The hype is real on these shoes as far as fit goes- they really are comfortable all-day heels, and the point is so flattering. Just make sure to size up a half size.
